- Eric Saling’s 67-yard touchdown pass to Billy Kute breaks a 7-7-tie ballgame and lifts St. Xavier past host Male 14-7. Male, ranked #3 in the state, drives to the St. X one-yard line but a fumble on 1st and goal ends the game-tying scoring threat as St. X improves their record to 9-1 on the season and 5-0 in district play.
