- Trinity has it’s 50-game winning streak snapped as Holy Cross upsets the #1 ranked Shamrocks 15-14. Trinity’s win streak was the second longest current win streak in the nation before the loss. Chris Griffin scores a touchdown for Holy Cross in the third quarter and after quarterback Robbie Jackson hooks up with Damon Baldon on a two-point conversion, for a 15-8 lead, the Cougars hold on from there for the victory. Holy Cross coach Bob Bronger says, “In all my days as a player and a coach, I’ve never seen kids play so hard.”
