at 26 degrees, the #1 ranked Class 2A Boyle County Rebels edge #2 ranked
Lexington Catholic 18-16 to capture the Region 3 Championship. The Rebels
extend their overall win streak to 28 games while Lexington Catholic has only 4
losses in their last 26 games; all to Boyle County. Matt Quinn scores on runs
of 6 and 4 yards for Boyle County. Lexington Catholic Quarterback, Jacob Doss,
passes for 1 touchdown and runs for another but it is not enough as the Rebels
advance to play Prestonsburg in the state semifinals.
