33 Years Ago Today – March 13, 1990

-Coach Julian Cunningham leads Jessamine County to school’s first ever “Sweet 16” Tournament with a 64-38 victory over Lexington Catholic in the finals of the 11^th Region Tournament in Memorial Coliseum.  For the Colts, Kevin Burton leads the way with 19 points, Paul Bingham chips in with 17 points, 15 rebounds and Keith Peel adds 14 points and seven rebounds.

-Coach Roscoe Denney leads the Danville Admirals to the 12^th Region Championship with a 65-63 victory over Lincoln County. Carl Bartleson led the Admirals with 20 points, Anthony Letcher and Troy Trumbo each had 12 points for Danville.
