20 Years Ago Today – August 3, 1996

- Trailing 51-50 early in the 2nd half, the Dream Team II attacked the inside with four straight dunks then extended the lead from there to finish with a, harder than expected, 95-69 Gold Medal Game victory over Yugoslavia in Atlanta. David Robinson’s 28 points on 9 of 11 shooting and Reggie Miller’s 20 points led the way for the Americans.
