26 Years Ago Today – August 5, 1990

- Bill Curry announces walk-on Tight End, Patrick Porter from Flemingsburg, has been awarded a football scholarship for his senior season at the University of Kentucky. Porter was named Most Valuable Offensive Walk-on during the 1990 spring drills. “Pat did a terrific job for us in the spring.” Curry said.
