Led by the two-hit pitching of Anthony Stacy, Christian County defeats Lafayette 3-1 in the KHSAA State Baseball Championship Game at Applebee's Park. Christian County scores a pair of runs in the second inning on RBI singles by freshmen Chase Joiner and Greg Casebier. For his outstanding performance on the mound, Anthony Stacy is named Tournament MVP.
