This Day In Kentucky Sports History

21 Years Ago Today – February 27, 2004

- Chris Lofton pours in a career-high 54 points to lead #2 Mason County to a 99-83 win over Pendleton County as both teams prepare for District Tournament play next week. Lofton converts on 20 of 32 field-goal attempts and 8-for-15 from three-point range. However, the great performance by the Royals sharpshooter did not break the school record. Ronnie Lyons scored 60 against Bourbon County in 1970.
