Louisville native Clark Burckle earns a spot on the U.S. Olympic swim team by finishing second in the 200-meter breaststroke at the Olympic Trials in Omaha, Nebraska. The former St. Xavier High School standout posted a time of 2:09.97, finishing just behind winner Scott Weltz. With his performance, Burckle qualifies to represent Team USA at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games, scheduled for July 27 to August 12 in London, England.
